5th Jan 2012: Happy New Year everyone! To welcome the new year, i’m thinking of adding more designs onto this blog.   Something like making a button for the wallpaper page, contact page and etc. Just some minor bits which will make this blog look more personalized. Also last months poll is closed and I managed to get like about 100 votes for that. So thanks to all who voted. And since Big Bang won the poll in that one, i’ll be making a wallpaper of that soon. More goodies on the way. So keep updated with my blog posts. :)

[Video] Akanishi Jin releases full audio preview of “Sun Burns Down”

Not much to comment on for the video, but I gotta say the song is pretty good and the beat is catchy too. ;) The single is set to be released on January 24th on iTunes. So keep a look out for it!

[News] Karam of DGNA to star in the live-action adaptation of “Ai Ore!” manga.

The full title of the manga series is “Ai o Utau yori Ore ni Oborero!” Or commonly known as “Ai Ore!“. It’s a gender bender kinda manga meaning the male character disguises as a female and the female character disguises as a male in the story. ;) Here’s the summary as quoted from ANN:

“Karam will play Akira Shiraishi, the male “princess” of an all-boys school, in the shōjo romance. The actress Ito Ōno will play Mizuki Sakurazaka, the female “prince” of her all-girls school and the lead guitarist in an all-girl rock band. In the manga’s story, Akira wants to join Mizuki’s band Blaue Rosen when the band’s lead singer moves overseas, but first he has to overcome Mizuki’s suspicious misgivings.”

[Bloggings] Thoughts on CN.Blue’s PV for “Where You Are”

I’ve always been a huge fan of CN.Blue and I love their catchy music and of course having 4 gorgeous men in the group is a plus point! A few thoughts about the PV though is that they just basically kept it simple on that part with shots of them playing their guitars and drums. As for the song, I love the beat and the catchy music but I would have preferred it if they used less English and more Japanese. I know they’re trying their best at their English, but too be honest it still does sound kinda Engrish to me especially at the chorus part (don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of them, but i’m just being honest here).

Besides, their Japanese sounds really good and fluent and I just think it would have been better if they used more of it here. I totally loved Jonghyun’s part at 2:43 which I feel is the best aspect of the song. ♥ The Japanese part at this point sounds so smooth and goes so well with the whole music feel. Overall I think it’s a great song but I personally feel that it would be better fully in Japanese.

Yes they’re finally gonna have their own channel! Before this they had made an account called jyjtour which well was basically to promote their US tour. But this upcoming channel is gonna be their official one. So when will it be up? 9th January! So keep a lookout for it under this account name CJESJYJ. And here’s a promo video:

[Videos] Seven – “Somebody Else” Music Video

A new treat is in for the Lucky Se7ens out there! Here’s Se7en’s new Japanese music video. It starts off pretty slow with the scene where he’s taking a ride on a bus which is apparently headed out to Se7en City lol. But then we soon get to the chorus part which is pretty catchy along with his smooth dance moves (He’s really a great dancer!). I also find Se7en’s Japanese pronunciation really natural too. No awkwardness there at all. I’m definitely looking forward to hear more Japanese tracks from him! :)

[Projects] PurpleMinds Kpop Follower Wallpaper Project

Hey guys! Last year I had a Christmas twitter layout project. But I didn’t have time to do that this year. But instead I thought of this one. So what’s this whole project about? Well it’s mainly for a little appreciation to my twitter followers and well to be honest, it’s also to get more publicity for my blog. Any other blogger would like their stories and post to be heard by everyone right? So it would be great if mines could get a bit more exposure and a great way to do that is through twitter! :D

So here’s the deal. If I can get at least 200 twitter followers by the end of this year, then i’ll make a kpop wallpaper dedicated to all my followers. I currently have 147. So just another 53 more to go within the next 10 days. And how is this special to the followers? Well i’ll have your twitter names featured in the wallpaper too! (Yes ALL my followers will be featured in it in a typography kpop design).

[Video] GD&TOP Oh Yeah (Full Japanese version)

Here’s the much awaited full video of the Japanese MV. I must say T.O.P looks so fine in every single shot (Ok yeah i’m kinda T.O.P biased :P). Love how both GD & TOP have that little crazy circling dance again (at 2:30). I’ve always thought that was kinda cute. xD Reminds me of the time they did that in the Knock Out MV. As for Bom, well she’s simply beautiful in the MV! She really looks like a real life doll! I just wish that there were some interactions between Bom with GD&TOP. That would’ve been nice. But oh well the MV is still amazing nonetheless. :D ♥
