Hi all! It’s been quite a while since my last post, but here I am with something new. Designs for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phone cover!

[Review] Big Bang Monster Music Video

So how many of you are still alive after watching the music video? Haha ok well it was pretty much as epic as the teasers indicated! I’ll breakdown my review to a couple of sections such as the music itself, interpretation of the video, and their costumes/style.

The Music

The song starts off with the beautiful piano playing a tragic and sad tune. In an instant I knew it was gonna be a heartbreaking song. Then T.O.P and GD comes in and starts rapping alternately while the piano beat picks up, getting faster and livelier. I really love TOP’s deep voice while rapping the first part! *swoons*.

The rest of the song is a beautiful mix of Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri’s vocals mixed with some rap from GD & TOP in between.  The chorus is really catchy with the line going like “I love you! Baby i’m not a monster!…I need you! Baby i’m not a monster!”. Near the end, the beat slows down and the slight sound of a slow heartbeat is heard and suddenly the piano keys banged in one loud dramatic tone marking the start of the lively chorus again .  Soon after, the beat slows down once more with the violins playing a slow sorrowful tune and GD repeating the words  “I think i’m sick…i think i’m sick” and thus marking the end of one epic song!

Overall I think the music was beautifully done by switching between the slow and fast paced parts. I also liked how smoothly the rap parts blend together with the rest of the song. I fell in love with it on the first listen!

[Events] Big Bang Alive Concert 2012 in KL, Malaysia

Malaysian fans fret no more! Big Bang is coming here for their concert and they have just released the official date and location today from their FB page! It will be held on 27 October 2012 at 8PM in Stadium Merdeka. Also here’s the FB event page.

What do you think of the location? Personally I was a bit disappointed that they are having it in Stadium Merdeka because it’s an open air stadium. Meaning if it rains, then well it’s gonna be troublesome. Was hoping that they could do it at Bukit Jalil Stadium instead. But oh well at least they’re coming here and that’s the most important thing after all!

How to get to Stadium Merdeka by train:

Click on the map above for a clearer view.

1. Take a train from anywhere to KL Sentral.
2. Walk out to KL Sentral Monorail Station.
3. Take the Monorail to Maharajalela station. It’s the 3rd station from KL Sentral station after Tun Sambanthan station.
4. Exit Maharajalela station and you should already see Stadium Merdeka as the station is just right next to the stadium.

[Review] Thoughts on BigBang’s Alive Mini Album

Big Bang is back and one word to sum it up is genius! Their music has really matured a lot and i’m glad to hear that there’s a whole variety of music packed into one album. But before I go on and explain why I like each track, I need to admit to one thing. Well honestly I was listening to the tracks like 2am in the morning. Probably due to the lack of sleep, I just didn’t “feel” some of the songs like Ain’t no Fun and Love Dust. BUT! Yes but….after having a good night sleep and listening to the tracks again, I instantly liked all the songs. But take note that I said like. Not love. The ones that I truly love and can’t get enough are Blue, Bad Boy, Wings and Fantastic Baby. So i’ll just write some little notes here on my thoughts about each track.

[Wallpaper] Nov-Dec 2011 Poll Results – Big Bang

I know i’m a bit behind on my wallpapers again. Been busy with life and stuff. Anyway I had some time today so I managed to make this. Well Big Bang won my Nov-Dec poll with 46 votes. And here’s the wallpaper I made for it. Coincidentally, Big Bang is making a comeback this February, so consider this as a comeback gift as well. ;)

[Wallpaper] May 2011 Poll Results – Big Bang

Again, this one is for my poll from back in May where Big Bang had the most votes. This one is yet another simple style wallpaper. I’ve been liking the combination of gray and white recently so i’ve been using that a lot in my designs. To sum up the whole process, I made those colorful boxes added some text and adjusted the lighting. I’m slowly catching up with all my wallpaper “to do” list. The next one will be from Beast. So keep a look out for that one soon. Enjoy~ :)

[Graphic Design] BigBang Facebook Header

One of my readers requested a Facebook header featuring Big Bang. I don’t usually take in requests other than icon requests. But I suppose this one was pretty simple so i decided to do one. If you wanna use it too, then just follow these steps below:

1. Download the picture files >>> HERE
2. Unzip the file and you should now have a folder with 5 images in it.
3. Go to your Facebook and create a new album. Lets call it “Facebook Header”.
4. Upload all the 5 images into the new album.
5. Tag yourself in each of the images. But make sure to tag yourself in reverse order like this: (Ex: fbheader5, fbheader4, fbheader3, fbheader2, fbheader1)
6. You should end up with the photos arranged nicely like the screenshot above.

[Projects] Baju Melayu for Big Bang

GD&TOP and Seungri of Big Bang are making their way to Malaysia for the first time ever on 24th Sept 2011 for the Korean Music Wave concert. So to make this a memorable trip for them, vips over at MY-VIP will be giving Big Bang a special gift. For those of you who don’t know what a Baju Melayu is, well it’s a traditional costume worn by Malay guys in Malaysia and usually worn during particular festivities and celebrations. Curious on what it looks like? :) Simply google for “baju melayu” and you will see a lot of lovely examples. ;)

It seems that they have already bought a couple of baju melayu’s for them. You can have a look over at MY-VIP’s facebook page. So far it says the deadline is tomorrow (19th Sept). For more details see here.

I’m dying to see them wear these clothes! So i hope someone will post the pics online when they do actually wear it one day (hopefully) lol. xD So in the mean time, i’ve photoshopped T.O.P’s face on a baju melayu. Haha wanna see? Stay tuned…it will be up on my tumblr soon. :D
